Guys math seems fuzzy can’t even get the years right
is hythloday a real name?
Raphael Hythloday a fictional character...Raphael is the name of a Biblical angel but the name Hythloday means "peddler of nonsense." Hythloday brings good news of the ideal society, found on the island of Utopia. Unfortunately, the island does not exist. Hythloday is a Portuguese man who sailed on the fourth voyage of Amerigo Vespucci. Vespucci was actually a sailor and discover (after whom America is named).
Hythloday is the main character in Utopia and he is distinct and unique from the others. Hythloday is very wordy and he speaks in long sentences. It's difficult for the other characters to get a word in edgewise. At the same time, Hythloday tends to be pretty dogmatic in his views. He is an absolute fan of Utopia: he praises all of their customs, criticizing nothing. Hythloday can seem very sensible at times, despite his ridiculous traits. In discussing court politics, Hythloday is wiser than More, realizing that the fickle shifting views of a king's flattering advisers can make the court an unpleasant adventure for the well-intentioned honest adviser. More rejects Hythloday's advice and learns his lesson the hard way. https://www.gradesaver.com/utopia/study-guide/character-list
Hythloday is an absolute moron, but he’s right on this one. A battle of mental midgets.
It’s vintage hythloday. Fetters makes an asinine point. Hythloday pounces on it, but extends the timeline by a decade and gets Caden Jumper’s composite score wrong, making himself look like the world’s smartest idiot in the process.

To be fair, in the article itself Fatters listed 2002 as a part of his much too long preamble:
In fact, since 2002, here are a dozen players that were rated below Wyrsch that went on to have very productive UW careers, including quarterback Keith Price, who wasn't even rated!
Ben Ossai .7222 D'Andre Goodwin .7444 Skyler Fancher .7667 Chris Stevens .7667 Anthony Russo .7667 Juan Garcia .7667 Cort Dennison .7736 Nate Robinson .8000 Chad Macklin .8000 C.J. Wallace .8000 Mason Foster .8198 Keith Price - Not Rated

The class comes down to JT, Egbuka, and Franklin. We won’t get both Egbuka and Franklin (wiw).
If we get JT and Egbuka, it will be a good class. Get elite guys and then evaluate and develop. I don’t lose sleep or get mad about losing a 4 star with 20 offers and getting a 3 star with 10 offers instead.

And neither did Bama/Penn State/Ohio State worry about that when they played us as well.
You are very right that kids today are following the NBA model of dream teams/goods want to play with goods.
Getting those top end guys will have other kids give us a 2nd look.

LOL the only of those guys that were truly standouts were Mason Foster, and.... CJ Wallace I guess? Price was good but not a top tier QB in the league.
