If you didn't know middle aged people are much more likely to have severe symptoms, you really haven't been paying attention.NorthwestFresh said:

Yes, they are stacking up like cordwood and hospitals are overrun here in Montana and other open states where bars and restaurants are open. What’s your purpose posting here other than being the driver of the Tug Clown Car? You’re either wrong or you’re lying. It’s the sign of a simpleton. HONK HONK!HHusky said:

Christ. You may bust a half back out in motion once in a while but the wishbone is still the wishbone. Get over your damned self for fuck's sake, Dazzler. At least @BearsWiin has some street cred to be a pretend intellectual.HHusky said:"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." - Einstein
The argument that the only victims of a highly contagious illness that makes large swaths of the population extremely ill for weeks are 1,000 octogenerians is a simpleton's take. If he wants to say the consequences of opening back up are worth bearing, he could at least be honest about what those consequences are.

I am quick to say when I am wrong. I was however right on this: There's been zero humility in our leadership.DerekJohnson said: -

16% of confirmed cases required hospitalization.
https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/health/new-analysis-reveals-the-likely-coronavirus-infection-iceberg-in-king-county/Researchers say the number of confirmed cases in the county — about 6,300 as of Friday — represents the tip of a much larger iceberg. In reality, about 46,000 people have likely been infected since the local epidemic began, according to information released Friday by Public Health – Seattle & King County. That translates into about 2% of county residents.
3215 / (18971 + (46000 - 7602)) = 5.4% hospitalization rate
3215 / ((~7000000 * .02) - 18971) = 2.5% hospitalization rate -
