    the Eisenhower days.

    90% tax rates and the strongest middle class in American history.

    Granted it still wasn't so good for Blacks, but still...

    Except it was Ike who sent the Federal troops into Little Rock Central HS when the Democratic governor of Arkansas refused to educate black children.

    Ike wasn't necessarily the best president, he just governed during the best time. Combine FDR's new deal framework with the post war economic boom and you have a golden age.

    correlation =/= causation.
    Fuck that.

    The industrialization of America for WWII is what created the Golden Age, not any fucking New Deal.

    Disagree. The economy during the war was terrible. The golden age didn’t start until around 1950.

    Agree is wasn’t the disastrous New Deal. What a crock that was

    It was such a crock that Roosevelt was re-elected 3 times with that as his signature policy accomplishment. Makes sense.

    So, what's your point? barry was elected twice and would have made it three times. Both FDR and barry had sh*tty economic policies that delayed the recovery. But they both had the media in their pocket. Americans don't really do economics, especially you leftards.

    Apples to oranges. Barry would have been re-elected again only because of the terrible alternatives. His personal popularity never translated into success for the party as a whole either, as they lost 1000 seats while he was in office. Under Roosevelt the country was dominated by democratic rule because the policies, not just the person, were widely popular.

    Obama's approval rating was pretty mediocre until the 2016 primaries began.

    Have you been tested for the typhus yet?

    It comes on fast around here. We've seen many typhus patients come and go.

    Terrible alternatives? Two ultimate moderate republicans versus a marxist incompetent black liberation theory AA candidate? barry believed that we couldn't drill our way to energy independence and that we could keep our doctor and plan. Energy and medical,m two of the biggest components of the American economy and barry had it incredibly wrong. Work the balls.
