No guarantee next year plays out much better after a season with a new coach, new OC, reshaped OL, etc
The script says all 3 early entrants go undrafted, offensive genius Petersen gets out of the way, and dipshit Donovan gels the youngsters into UW’s best offense in a decade.

After he waited to hear his name called Thursday and Friday in the first three rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft, Jacob Eason finally came off the board Saturday afternoon. With the No. 122 overall pick, the Indianapolis Colts selected him in the fourth round, but why did the former Georgia (2016-17) and Washington (2019) quarterback fall so far?
According to ESPN NFL insider Chris Mortensen, teams shied away from Eason for several reasons. While he stood out with his big arm and 6-foot-6 frame, Eason was unattractive to teams because of character issues, according to Mortensen.
"Well, guys make all good points — he has the physical attributes, Jacob Eason does, of being a first-round player," Mortensen said on ESPN's draft broadcast. "So why the fourth round? Well, as teams peeled back the onion on Jacob Eason, they found evaluations and information that his work ethic is an issue, accountability is an issue — there's a list of about four or five character flaws.
"The bottom line is that Eason will have a chance to be around true pros and learn what it's like to be one. If he's not the guy, they'll move on and find the guy. Rivers is basically on a one-year contract and Brissett only has one year left.
Under Frank Reich, an offensive-minded head coach who has been with the Colts since the start of the 2018 season after he previously served as a coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2016-17, Eason has the tools to grow with young weapons around him. Indianapolis selected USC wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor in the second round Friday evening, adding to the youth movement of playmakers on offense.
"There's certain situations when quarterbacks get drafted into — they should not only be cheering for the fact that they got drafted, they should be cheering for the fact that they got drafted to the teams that they went to," Riddick said. "The same as the situation that (quarterback) Jalen Hurts is looking at, going to Philadelphia (in Friday's second round). It's the same thing when (quarterback) Patrick Mahomes was drafted by (head coach) Andy Reid in Kansas City (in the 2017 NFL Draft).
"It's the same thing here with Jacob Eason, going to play under Frank Reich. These are ideal situations, getting around the right culture, around the right general manager who knows that he has to do everything he can to provide a situation for you to thrive in and the Indianapolis Colts are doing that with the drafting of Michael Pittman and the drafting of Jonathan Taylor. That's all by design to help quarterback play out as well.
"This is a perfect situation for him. It could be a patient situation. They can sit and wait for him to develop, see if Philip Rivers can have one of those great years once again in a new environment. It's a win-win for everybody."

He destroyed some in garbage tim against Oregon in ‘16, TD behind the block. That’s about it.
Pete floated the character concerns because Eason didn't live in the film room like Haener and lobbied for more receiver groups with Bynum, Puka, and Spiker and was told to wear it.
Weird how the offense averaged over 40 points the 3 games Puka played.
Ask Tua and Joe Burrow, quality WRs matter.
Doogs --you know who you are-- began Browning's Heisman campaign after the 2016 season.
Facts: we played Big Sky WRs and passed over attractive OC candidates for an assistant RB coach.

2 things can be true. Pete ran a crappy offense and Eason was a lazy, overrated quarterback.

Shitty players. Shitty offense and bitter coaches because Eason decided to leave. Maybe not a first rounder, Eason was our best QB since Pickett, and without Reggie Williams.
Yeah, he's immobile. So was Tom Brady.
Joe Burrow sucked until he didn't See how you all like Sirmon and Morris. One of us has all the screenshots we need.

Brady proved he could win big games in college and finished his career as the orange bowl MVP against SEC champion Alabama.
The frustration surrounding Eason are based around his sense of entitlement and lack of leadership. This isn't the Brady scouting report.
Jay Cutler comparisons are on point. Hopefully he learns something from Philip Rivers. He's in a perfect situation to succeed at the next level. All he needs to do is try.
