You joke, but much of what the re-written NAFTA agreement was forcing stuff out of China and back to North America...it’s why Mexico was on board from the beginning. Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, etc. Should diversify the supply chain anyway beyond the realpolitik consideration. A diverse supply chain is more resilient.
Considering realpolitik, we should have never let China in the WTO in the first place. Kick the fuckers out.
