Saw Snow mention getting crab the other day but he never said What kind of crab he was getting I like dungeonous Snow, or Blue....I like Blue the best, Dungeonous nex.
But like “Royal Red” shrimp best....they come from deep water of Florida and can only get them Florida to Alabama. Very rarely make it much further west. I cooked some tonight.

Tough one - it's almost a dead heat between crab and shrimp.

I went with shrimp just because it's easier to peel and eat. But I love me some crab.

Fish are not seafood. Fish are found in lakes and streams (inland). Seafood is found in, you know, the sea.

BTW, crawfish suck. Again, not seafood - inland mud dwellers.

100% agree that saltwater fish are superior to fresh water fish.

That wasn't the question. Fish still not seafood.

Do you want me to take down that Salma sex tape link?!? Do not question this fact.

    Good shit pole, Cletus.

You're full of shit on crabbies though. It's Dungeness with a good white wine or GTFO.

    As Jim once said...

Get here, and we'll do the rest

Blue are pretty solid but the Dungie and King are better.

Still doesn't change my answer. Unless you're going full on picnic table/newspaper crab boil, shrimp are just easier to consume. See also: scampi.

Crab tastes way better than shrimp though.

You're expecting me to expend effort and that's just not a lifestyle I can embrace.

All seafood is work. I don’t think crab is any more challenging than shrimp. I don’t have to de-vain crab.

King Crab is the ultimate, but PNW salmon, dungeness, and clams are all worthy.

Skrong disagree. Dungies beat the shit out of King crab although they are still damn tasty.

Fish is too broad a category so it wins by a mile.

Crab fishermen that I know will only eat kings, red or blue, and Dungeness.

Mastro's Seafood Tower. Customizable. Order the King Crab, Dungness, and the LARGE prawns. Skip the oysters. I could go either way on the lobster. Can be ordered at Scottsdale's Mastro's, CityHall, or The Ocean Club. Mastros has a Beverly Hills location, as well. They'll give you a private table. Just tell them you're part of Derek Johnson's crew.
