I remember in July of 2105 when the Trump campaign was over. I like Zombie Trump in this one. Awfully warm for November
    From the article:

To be sure, the president isn’t responsible for either the coronavirus or the disease it causes, COVID-19, and he couldn’t have stopped it from hitting our shores even if he had done everything right. Nor is it the case that the president hasn’t done anything right; in fact, his decision to implement a travel ban on China was prudent. And any narrative that attempts to pin all of the blame on Trump for the coronavirus is simply unfair. The temptation among the president’s critics to use the pandemic to get back at Trump for every bad thing he’s done should be resisted, and schadenfreude is never a good look.

So the author more or less exonerates him from fault but THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY IS OVER!!!!!
It exonerates him of fault for the virus and its arrival in America. Duh!

His lack of leadership qualities is on full display.

    Expand on that

Was it trying to stay positive or now going full blown political cover his ass with promises of aid and comfort from big brother?

Reasonable people ( so not you) can disagree if trying to talk up the market was good or bad, I think it was worth a shot. I don't think it hurt anything other than some people's feelings

    He's now being "presidential"

Why do you need to be led anyway? Are you that weak?

He’s the CEO of the Federal Government, which does need to be led. Making decisions based upon how they make “his” statistics look—because “it’s not our fault”—isn’t leadership. He actually said that out in front of God and everyone.

People who used to say “character counts” have been willing to accept anything because of tax cuts and a rising stock market. You’ve still got your tax cut and it’s only going to kill you if you’re over 60. Sleep tight.

Your precious federal government has trillions of dollars a year and hundreds of agencies that allegedly exist to deal with this shit.

    Did they fail?

Its not our fault. Its your Chi Com masters fault. WHO just said that Europe is now the center of the disease and worse than China was

You know the socialist paradises with free healthcare and test kits and shit

You want to blame Trump that's fine. I just wanted to show the jury how hollow your reasoning is

    Your dismissed

Wasn't Trump just called a xenophobe for his decision to shut down travel from Europe and didn't Nancy Pelosi and the House Rats vote to restrict the President from imposing travel bans?

Leadership is calling for open borders while claiming it's racist to restrict travel it appears.

Btw, you know who is doing little if any testing and has very little Corona virus? Russia. They shut their border down.

Daddy disassembling our pandemic response team was a choice he made in 2018. Short sighted as it turned out. But no one is blaming him for the existence of a virus. And really, there are too many old people. Some good will come of this.

Europe is now the epicenter and worse than China was.

The US is doing shit in case. You can't recover from something that hasn't happened yet. And hopefully won't.

Btw, the "pandemic response team" that Trump disassembled consisted of one guy on the National Security council. The CDC's pandemic response team was never touched. But O'Keefed must feel that having five layers of bureaucracy all doing the same thing keeps us save.
