    I remember my IPAs suck phase.

    Not saying there aren't good Euro beers, don't twist. I love Belgians, trappists and other shit brewed by monks, saisons, etc. It sounds like you prefer stuff with malt/candy behind it. You just need to find the right gateway beer to get in to IPAs. This is spoken from personal experience. I hated beer until after I turned 30.
    The Throbber is much closer to 2x30 years old than 30.

    Moving into what could feasibly be the third period in the game of life, the range of items ingested has been broad across several continents. IPAs are somewhere between bile and quinine.
