Two part series on Frontline. The Throbber watched Part One yesterday and will have Part Two on while he tends to his chicken today.

Very well done. Highly recommend.

Jeezus Throbber. That is a genuflect on one knee, play his skin flute, homage to BO. It portrays anyone who isn't a rat as racist and it is most definitely written to be a hit job on Trump.

I knew what I was getting into when I saw it was pbs, but that video goes beyond my lowest expectation. What it did do though was remind me that the rats used Charleston as an opportunity to paint the American Right as racist. One fucking psycho kills and everyone who disagrees with the far left is racist. 6% of the population in this country (black males) are responsible for 44% of the murders and not a mention. It is all about the racist white Republicans. Wow!

The Rats don't need any opportunity in order to paint Republicans as racists. It's been their default position now for nearly 50 years. And if they can't find a good incident to use in order to make their charge, they'll make one up. Hands Up Don't shoot!!!

I passed on this one because Frontline. The Throbber recommendation carries some weight but still undecided

America always seems to be divided when a GOP (allegedly) wins the White House. Its all butterflies and rainbows when a Democrat is there

Bi partisan is agreeing with the left and giving them what they want. Partisanship is doing what your conservative base elected you to do which is also divisive. And racist

I found it to be a good refresher of 'how' we got to where we have. 2008 was all hope and change and unity and hugs....and in less than a decade, reasonable people are pissed off at the extremes.

Obama pushed the wrong buttons when he embarrassed Trump at the DC Correspondents Dinner. That's the day the world changed imho.

Also pretty interesting too to watch the clip of Ann Coulter on Bill Mahrer literally getting laughed at by the leftists when she predicted Trump would win. Like guffaws and knee slapping. Which shows how out of touch the left had become to a rising tide of discontent.

After I tend to my chicken, planning on watching Part 2 this afternoon.

2008 was all Hope and Change because that's the way the media sold it. The Media now sells Trump as the next Hitler who thinks the Klan are fine people and all Mexicans are rapists and shockingly people are pissed off.
I'm not debating that or bias by PBS even in this presentation. Over 12 years in the course of events, there was a lot of 'oh, yeah...I forgot about that' moments recollected while watching the episode(s).
