Pete had enough talent to take one of the 2017-19 teams to the playsoffs. His own offensive scheme and stubbornness cost him.

Maybe. Our WR’s are pure dogshit compared to both these teams tho. And honestly, even Gaskin is quite a bit worse than either team’s RB. The LSU back is a beast and had like 1400 yards. I know some will disagree with that, but that dude is putting up better numbers than Gaskin at UW. And Jake Browning. And the OL. Some of it is coaching, but some of it is those players are just plain better.

I don’t think a great defense is enough anymore. Bama used to win with Jacob Coker and Parker-Wilson, but those teams would get smoked by this LSU team.
