    Does this sound like "rats squeal"?

    "No American will mourn Qassem Soleimani’s passing," said former Vice President Joe Biden in a statement after the general's death. "He deserved to be brought to justice for his crimes against American troops and thousands of innocents throughout the region."

    "None of that negates the fact that this is a hugely escalatory move in an already dangerous region," Biden added, saying Trump "just tossed a stick of dynamite into a tinderbox."

    Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said Soleimani was a "murderer, responsible for the deaths of thousands, including hundreds of Americans" but she said the decision to kill him was a "reckless move" that "escalates the situation with Iran."

    She is regurgitating a Fox talking point to spread to the viewers. I have some mouth breather friends that are pretty much illiterate but can resight all the fox talking points that didn't even know who Soliemani was or what country he was from until a week ago.

    They are extremely effective carrying themes throughout all of their programming.

    I enjoy watching fox news. They know what they are doing and very good at it.

    On the flip side they have a heavy hand tearing this country apart.

    If this is true then Iran has been guilty of acts of war against the US since he's been a senior government official. Seems appropriate to respond in kind to that don't you think?

    Oh please, grow the fuck up. If you didn’t want Americans getting blown up by Iran backed insurgents then we shouldn’t have invaded and occupied Iraq in the first place. There are lots of people with American blood in their hands around the world, guess we need to “respond in kind” as well huh? How far down that rabbit hole do you want to go?

    Yes, yes. It's clearly just a Fox talking point. That's why the Babylon Bee piece resonated so clearly. These "themes" are effective because people have eyes and ears and they know that at a certain level it's true.

    Attacking our embassy was an act of war. Killing our troops in Iraq was an act of war. He was in Iraq. Killing him was perfectly legitimate an and act of war.
