Awful lot of contributing factors in this and 99.9% isn't guns since we've had them a long time. Society has changed. People have changed. Guns really haven't in over 100 years.

There are no natural consequences for people's actions. It wasn't that long ago that if you acted a fool in public an upstanding citizen would take you to task for your actions. Not anymore. They liked to put people in jail for it now.

Law enforcement was few and far between not very long ago and people knew they had to take care of themselves.

    Now it's pussies everywhere.

Chart records suicide by gun as a gun death. When you need to lie and obfuscate to make your point you don't have a point.

    Sorry you were disappointed.

Yep, the contrast between what freedom and liberty loving people in Texas allow their citizens to do in order to exercise their god given right of self defense and what a state like NY does to disarm religious minority groups that the state despises couldn’t be greater.

    FREEDOM!!!

    LIBERTY LOVING!!!

    Bob loves bumper stickers.

Hey Bob, you might want to check out the gun violence differences between the FREEDOM and LIBERTY LOVERS of TX vs. the communist socialist freedom and liberty haters of NY.

Oh yea, I’ll bet the folks at the TX church that got shot up in 2017 where 26 people were killed had a lot of your favorite bumper sticker on their cars.

Keep in mind that we’re talking about people at fucking church.

So weird how this picture is shaded so similarly to the death by suicide by state picture above. That must be a coincidence...

    Great strawman as always

This will make some vaginas sandy:

97.8% of public mass shootings since 1950 have occurred in gun-free zones

From '07-'15 overall murder rates fell by 18% while the percentage of concealed carry permits increased by 190%

    Curiosity does not equal disappointment.

It now appears the shooter has been identified.

It looks like those who had guns knew how to handle them in a very tense situation. This just demonstrates what our founding fathers knew all along in writing the 2nd amendment. People sworn to uphold the constitution should promote proper handling instead of confiscation.

Hmm, took the family out for breakfast today. Conceal carried my 40mm and it behaved itself and stayed in the holster for the entire meal.

    So you’re a giant pussy?

I took my family out to breakfast and didn’t pack a weapon. Am I the toughest guy in the world?

    I’m obviously tougher than you.
Uh huh, spoken like someone who’s never seen someone killed. Unlike you, I’ve made the decision as to when to pull the trigger and when not to pull the trigger. I bet you’ve never experienced anything more stressful than did I knock up my cousin, or not?
True, I’ve never killed anyone nor have I ever been in a position to kill anyone. My best fri

That’s correct tough guy. I don’t have experience of seeing someone killed. The majority of the people that served for our country aren’t packing in their churches and movie theaters. What is your point?
My point is, if you’re not going to prepare yourself to combat evil, fine. Just stay out of the way of those of us who will.
    Amen.

Western Civ is far less barbaric in terms of overall violence, than where we were just 100 years ago. In this country for example, most of us are less likely to be a victim of a violent crime than was the case 30 years ago. But it's the nature of the violence that has changed. In the 1870s it was Hatfields vs McCoys type shit vs the socially alienated, video game playing, young male nut jerb shootings which garner all the press.

The point is that you want to enforce your fear of firearms to the whole population. Just like you want to destroy our borders, seize private property and asserts from people who have to much of it and force children to watch drag queens in school.

Well that explains that. The #goodguywithagun is a former FBI agent. Well trained indeed.

    I was wrong. Shooting instructor.

But still, didn't miss a beat.
