Just a tragically killed family member, not real life like college football?
spoken like 95% of football fans in the south. And the rest of the country puts these retards on a pedestal.
It just means more. Every game a battle. Every season a WAR.
Flag me all you want faggot.
Real life > football
Only retards feel different.
We wonder why west coast schools can’t compete. The coach has a job to do. People die and that’s sad. Be a professional and do your job, or go be a school teacher or accountant. This is D1 football brother.
In an era where players are skipping games... your argument falls flat
The coach is getting paid and this is a national semifinal. I bet he thinks you are a giant pussy for even suggesting he sit out.
I might be. Like I said.

I would be shocked if anyone skipped this game. Stop digging.
When the goin gets tuff the tuff gets goin. Bad bad deal but gotta huge job to do with many counting on the man that helped get em here.
That was more than just the tough getting going. Amazing and downright psychotic that he was able to call a game like that after his daughter was killed on the way to the game.
Prayers to his family
*EDIT*I thought it was his daughter. In-law still sucks and sorry for the family but it is a peg down

It's a huge difference.
If my sister died my dad would be a wreck.
If my wife died he would be upset for me and the kids (and himself, he loves my wife) but nowhere near at the same level.

I see both sides, but it’s feasible to put everything aside for 4-5 hours and coach the game. Either choice he made would be acceptable. Not sure what the right thing to do in this case is. Nobody does. Each person is different on how they handle things. Him not coaching in the game would not change anything.

Anyways, he is a coach. Time to lead by example.
“Do your job.”

It's not the same thing.
