Hawks and niners both control their own destinies: win out, become overall 1 seed.

To this day it doesn't register that Seattle actually won a super bowl. Choking against Pitt and the worst play call in history to lose to the Pats are very Seahawk to me. So even though they have got to the Super Bowl with home field advantage I still can't see them getting home field or winning a super bowl again

Then again nobody is there that can't be beat.

Today I'll pick the Ravens to play the Saints.

I’m writing off the Patriots. Very good defense but the offense has sucked for long enough that it’s probably not changing this year.

and if the hawks get HFA, they're going to the superb owl

haven't lost a playoff home game since the 90s

AB apologized on twitter, good enough for me.

Hawks don't quite control their own destiny for HFA. If NO wins out and GB loses then Seattle will lose the HFA tiebreaker to NO. Hawks need GB to win out to make it a three way tie and eliminate the head to head.

Or obviously just as NO loss.

Correct. If NO wins out, Seattle beats San Fran last game with both still with 3 losses and Green Bay drops 1, NO will be #1 seed with the head to head win over Seattle. If San Fran and NO wins out with a GB loss, San Fran will be #1 seed winning the head to head against NO last week.

Pulling for NO and Seattle to win out and a GB loss at this point.

I hate Drew Brees and the Saints by the way. And Sean Payton. I hope they get 16 bad calls they can cry about for the next 20 years. They still had the Rams beat last year but Brees threw a pick.

Congrats to Drew Brees on breaking another record. Earlier this season he broke the all time passing record and last night vs the Colts the all time touchdown record. 👍👍

I like those guys. They have been good for awhile but their defense has always been iffy before the past year or two.

2004 but still. They've made the Superbowl every time they've had the 1 seed.

I'll never forgive Bobby Engram for that 2004 game.

Fourth down drop to looser the game.

I totally forgot about 2004, and there's another one too I guess since they just said Seahawks are 10-2 since 2000 in home playoff games. Cardinals game should be interesting. Sitting about 50 starters.

Overall HFA still in play here with a win, win next week, and packers winning out.
  • Pete Carroll attempting a 52 yard FG on 4th and 1 might be the most indefensible coaching decision I've ever seen

Taking the intentional delay so you can punt is even worser

    YOu're both right.

Only once since the 2000 season.

1999 team lost at home to Miami on Jan 9, 2000.

Pete must have had a stroke. How else can you explain that? Good lord.
