I have my doubts that a single one of you will get this, but it just so happens I've been playing through old point and click adventure games with my kids lately, at Petersen's jacket immediately reminded me of Stan's from Stan's Previously Owned Vessels:

Never played that one but it’s probably like the Spyfox series?

Never heard of Spyfox, but it looks like a point and click adventure game from the 80s/90s, so yeah! Monkey Island was my favorite series, particularly Monkey Island 2. Pretty funny when you're playing them as a middle-schooler.

Someone save this thread
I went from full mast to completely inverted in a matter of three posts.
Pretty sad, actually. He coached in the game that he had grown up watching in awe, and didn't appreciate any of it; really speaks to how miserable he truly was.
Taking the Rose Bowl for granted is something that will probably haunt him for the rest of his life.
Was Pete depressed?
He was forced to live in Seattle for 6 years, what do you think?

It's kind of jarring that someone can get paid millions of dollars to do their dream job and just kind of stop caring. People can't do that making $20/hr putting up drywall.

Look behind you, a Three-Headed Monkey!
I loved the Monkey Island games, and I just recently finally played Grim Fandango through to the end. But, as an unreasonably proud Washingtonian, I was a real Sierra On-Line fanboy.
Huh? He's not wearing a suit and that's a plaid jacket.
Men's fashion superiority guy...
Hardly. This is basic stuff though.
Agree w/ @DerekJohnson: I like the jacket, but he should have gone white shirt with solid purple tie to pull out magenta in jacket. Contrast, contrast, contrast. Rule #1 in good style.
Which is why @Doog_de_Jour is correct: Jimmy montLAKE nailed the look. Clean, sophisticated, with a hint of swag via the plaid jacket. Subtle but stylie. Jimmy fucks.

How rewarding are these games today?
