    The 1910 law was necessary just like FDR in the 1930s. We just need to make the welfare state work better and quit fostering bad outcomes.

    And yet it functions like one, with American political 'royalty' like the Kennedys, Bushes, Clintons, etc. We need to remove these dynasties from power, and find a way to prevent these sorts of dynasties from functioning in the future.

    Even modern people

    The industrialists that built America and their fortunes were thought to be virtuous simply because they did build a fortune

    Between lifestyles of the rich and famous and political dynasties we still do it

    George Washington could have become king rather easily
