Smart kid to specialize in snapping. His athleticism won’t ever matter, maybe a tiny bit on punts, but coaches always take the better athlete when it’s close between them and another guy.

Do not mind giving a scholarship to a LS, but its a total buzzkill nonetheless when the allure is it could be at a position of more importance.

I guess that can be true, but the NFL snappers are often from tiny colleges. My problem with offering these guys and kickers is that no actual, thorough evaluation is done.
