Smart kid to specialize in snapping. His athleticism won’t ever matter, maybe a tiny bit on punts, but coaches always take the better athlete when it’s close between them and another guy.
What a perfect fucking encapsulation of the season. Losers of two in a row, a "woof" excites the fans that maybe the death spirial can be reversed. And it's a long snapper. Lol.
Offering long snappers suck until the try hard walk on fucks you over big time in a critical spot
I guess that can be true, but the NFL snappers are often from tiny colleges. My problem with offering these guys and kickers is that no actual, thorough evaluation is done. They just go by the camp lists.
Do not mind giving a scholarship to a LS, but its a total buzzkill nonetheless when the allure is it could be at a position of more importance.
this is fine when almost all the recruiting is finished by September. Mid-season you'll get something like this while at the last minute you still have room for something unexpected. This is part of Petersen's process that is working very well for me.

Not really the case anymore, only a handful come from small schools nowadays, you won't see any small school guys break into the NFL as rookies anymore
The fact that "long snapper" exists as a position in football is mind blowing. Center should be capable of snapping a ball backwards since it's already in his/he/they/their job description.

Clearly shows that @dnc is the only one that understand football in this board

"They have been my dream school since I was eight years old," Green admitted. "When I played the NCAA games, I always was Washington.
"When I got on campus last summer, the moment I set foot on campus, I got chills. I wanted to be part of what they have going on there and I love the staff. That staff cares about their players and they are great coaches. The program there is lucky to have them."

HTH
how many scholarships do Whitford, Porter, Soderberg, Horn, and Henry take up?
Henry can keep his but there has to be one or two extra schollies (ILTCT Schollies) hiding in that group somewhere?
