RamenRamen from a good Japanese shop is easily numbah one for me. A close second is clam chowder made with heavy cream, bacon and lots of Dungeness crab.

I don't have time for clams while muscles and oysters exist but Anthony's clam chowder, and sourdough bread with fresh rosemary is a whole other thing.

Fuck off - My favorite is...Lentils can go fuck off, but I like all those soups on the list.
I keep the crab shells from when I go crabbing and boil them to make a stock. Then I use that to make a chowder with either razor clams or littleneck clams. It's pretty fuckin good. -
