Some people don't realize they already pay for illegals to have health Care.

    How is that Hondo?
The person who regularly sits in the ER for 4 hours with illegals actually questions whether he pays for illegals medical care.

It's pure comedy gold that you, of all people, were the first person to respond to my post.
I just asked you how people already pay for illegals Kunt. Where did I question if people pay for illegals medical care?

Pure comedy gold that you're so fucking stupid you can't answer a simple question.

Btw, you called me a liar when I said I was in an ER that was filled with illegals, now you admit that illegals get their medical care from ERs. Pure comedy gold that you're a fucking liar and a moron.
I answered your question, you are too dumb to understand. I never said illegals don't get medical care from the ER. They do all the time and anyone who actually has medical insurance pays for their care indirectly. (You know, $30 aspirin and shit).

I called you out on your ER story because you are either making it up completely. Which makes you a liar. Or you are assuming that every Brown person in the ER is illegal. Which makes you racist. I actually say you are both a liar and racist but you can take your pick. HTH
And you used der Uberfuhrer's hated "Illegals" phrase again.

This will be noted in the weekly TPS report.

Yes.... I'm saying "I never said...." I will take your concern for future consideration however.

Fuck me this is unreal. If California's government didn't have the geographic advantages it does to keep people here this place would resemble Detroit.

[The plan does not cover all unauthorized immigrants under 25, only those whose incomes are low enough to qualify. State officials estimate in the first year the program will cover about 138,000 residents and cost California taxpayers $98 million.]

Anecdotal but we've already got friends with chronic health conditions who are moving to California to take advantage of the "free healthcare". So in addition to becoming the dumping state for the homeless and drug addicted from other states California will also be the dumping state for the medically indigent. Sound policy and leadership. FYFMFE.

Free if you happen to be illegal. Not for citizens. You'll be expected to pay.

Covered California comes as close to "free" as possible without actually being so to avoid the label. I've got multiple friends on it paying less than $10 a month for their healthcare while my premiums have skyrocketed. Don't call it a transfer though!

@CirrhosisDawg please, do tell me how this government centrally planned economic policy of wealth distribution(to non tax paying undocumented citizens additionally) fits into a "free market". Or is it "free movement of peoples" but not "free markets"?

Free markets require uninhibited movement of people, goods, services and money to their highest and best use. Migrant workers in California illegally are a historical and inextricable component of the state’s economy. They’ve always been here. They are never leaving. You understand that right?

The state’s DOF and Lao both provided economic analyses showing significant cost savings to the General Fund by providing $98 million in insurance to this otherwise uninsured segment of the labor pool. The spectacle of racist GayBob stuck in the ER waiting his turn in line is an especially humorous and unintended consequence of this policy. Btw, When are you moving out GayBob?

Finally, you are free to lobby and vote for similar coverage for yourself if you are so inclined. (‘Mmmkay” is how the throbber put it.). In fact, it appears the throbber’s bell curve is getting blindsided by a safety blitz.

    1. Free markets require uninhibited movement of people, goods, services and money to their highest and best use. Migrant workers in California illegally are a historical and inextricable component of the state’s economy. They’ve always been here. They are never leaving. You understand that right?

    3. Finally, you are free to lobby and vote for similar coverage for yourself if you are so inclined. (‘Mmmkay” is how the throbber put it.). In fact, it appears the throbber’s bell curve is getting blindsided by a safety blitz.

    1. I do, don't lump me with FSBob, I thought we had moved past that. I'm on board with loosening immigration restrictions, guest workers, etc. The only thing I'm not on board with is the status quo of ignoring the rule of law as a policy of government or treating "undocumented peoples" as a 2nd class of citizens for votes. Fix the system to align with migrant worker demand and economic realities, Profit.

    2. Link?(Unlike Hondo I will read it) What I read were there would be significant benefits to those currently lacking access to care, no shit. Or significant savings for local agencies providing care(simply a shift of cost from local to state budget). Let counties that use significant illegal labor pay for the health care of those illegals. Or you know, you could free market this shit and let people pay for their own health services directly regardless of their migrant status instead of trying to drive socialism down everyone's throat.

    3. Better effort. C'mon, we both know that California is dominated by the Left, and essentially three cities interests(LA, SF, Sac). I vote, I donate, and I advocate but I live in a republic so it is what it is. That doesn't mean I have to like what the government is doing.

Curious how you are somehow able to live in the 2% stupid on either end.

    Bravo.

Undocumented isn't a law term. It's a feel good term. I don't care if they are offended by being called illegal!

Throb do you think the left will be ok with all the "undocumented" firearms held by people who don't turn them in when they ban them?

    Only fair.

I didn’t intend to link your viewpoints with Bob. I appreciate your efforts to differentiate. He’s seriously fucked up.

This topic has come up at least once before on HH and I need to find the bill number and analysis. The gist is that insuring this cohort with public insurance provides a layer of preventive care that will preempt massive medi cal bills later on.

I applaud your informed views. At the end of the day, we all have to respect state sovereignty and rule of law.

Empertermann just prolapsed throbber’s bell curve.

Illegals before all else. Undocumented democrat voters whom they will probably automatically put on the voting rolls when they get treatment just like they do when getting an "illegal" drivers license.
