We haven't even discussed the fact that 3d printing is now a thing and the genie is out of the bottle. Also, fucking templates and all the grey areas they create.

Plastic fantastic printed guns are a very real issue that gets almost no media attention.
NM fucking plastic my guy. We are rapidly hitting consumer ready metal 3d printing and it's totally affordable to have a CNC with a tip for metal if you like. You can also still just mill something by hand with a very limited set up. None of this is rocket science. If fucking Afghanis living in the mountains with no internet can figure out how to make AK-47's you better believe that people in the US can.
The plastic shit is scary because of metal detectors. I don't want printed guns getting into school and courtrooms. That is fucking scary. Unless the defendant is a pedophile who is proven guilty. Then let the Dad in with a fucking bazooka for all I care.
But they are gun free zones. How can anyone bring guns in?

An AR-15 fires as fast as you can pull the trigger. Just like every hand gun. Assault rifles are a small fraction of the gun murders in the US. If a cop thinks he needs an AR-15 to protect himself, then so do I.

It's only part of the problem so let's not do anything.

If you think you need an AR-15 to defend yourself you have problems, so does that hypothetical cop.

And in this case your personal insecurities are literally costing people lives.

How many bullets can the rifle hold compared to the "assault rifle"?
What does same capacity mean to you?
I know what the meme says.
    It is correct.
Ok here's the thing. While that exact rifle technically can have a high capacity magazine. The idiots that commit mass shootings don't know that, or else one would be used by now. And I'd imagine, the vast majority of hunting rifles don't have that capability without modifications. Just like you can modify an AR with a bump stock to make it function as a fully auto rifle (although I think those sales are illegal now).
Point of order. Everything you just typed is wrong or inaccurate. Please educate yourself before arguing for things you do not fully understand. TIA

Hondo, et al, see the wood stock Mini-14 and, dare I say, profile it as a "good" or at least less scary-bad gun. In truth, it's uses essentially the mechanism of the M-1 and visually modeled after the M-14, the two US combat rifles prior to the M-16. The A-Team kept Mini-14s in the back of the van.

I hesitate to bring that up because they'll want to ban Mini-14 too.
We also do not want them to know you can buy a 100 round drum magazine for the mini-14 and have TONS of fun! Ask me how I know this....watermelons fear me
In grade school, a kid brought one to school for his demonstration project. No big deal.
    Quite common really
    For hunting Artesians?

Pistols are reactionary weapons. They are carried because it can be with you and keeps your hands free. Long guns such as rifles and shotguns are for fighting. That's why the military only issues certain members pistols. And then the pistol is something to fight the unexpected with temporarily until you can get to a long gun.

If you know your going to a fight you bring a long gun. Police are often called to known circumstances and rifles are very appropriate. Shotguns too. It's like golf different clubs for differing circumstances. At my department we carried both in a dual rack in the car.

So you need a long gun if you are going to a fight that presumably involves other guns?

What exactly does that have to do with civilian ownership?

So, you believe in banning AR-15s then?

Piss off cuck. If you want to live in a country where guns are banned, move to Europe and get yourself a knife.
