If you made a political donation and weren't aware "they" could find out, I'm sorry for you. Like I say, not a new thing.SFGbob said:Weird how this public info standard you were using you now only want to apply to campaign donations.

Btw, Daddy won Texas. The analogy would be to placing a Fuhrer sign in front of an Aryan business. Bad job by you!Bendintheriver said:A dem Rep who's brother is running for President tweets out the name and employers of Trump supporters.
This is wrong. The modern socialist Juden sign on the front of Jewish businesses. -
I looked at the PDC for the State of Washington - the home address is not..HHusky said:PurpleThrobber said:
Uh...no it's not. Individual contributions are disclosed. Addresses are NOT disclosed.HHusky said:The information is a matter of public record. Maybe this will backfire and it will be good for business.
There is absolutely NO reason employers need to be named. Is the next step to call for these people to be fired? Or perhaps boycotts on the business? Does your employment contract tell you who you can and can't vote for? Or prohibit to whom you can or can't spend your money? Or donate to an 'offensive' religious group?
Let's just all get long knives and ransack their shops. Burn them!!! BURN THEM!!!
This is absolute bullshit. The fact you can't draw the connection is mind-boggling. Truly.
I just looked at the FEC site. There I am with my address and everything. Yes, it is a matter of public record.PurpleThrobber said:

But there's NO FUCKING REASON the employers name should be published. None.
So, no -THAT'S NOT a matter of public record.
I will retract - the employer name is available. There's absolutely no reason to disclose that information to the FEC. THe Throbber wouldn't do it.
And what is the purpose behind posting that in a well-publicized and orchestrated move?
My outrage stands. It's a dick move that Casto made. And if you support that behavior, you're a dick too.
I already knew that. But now it's clear.

There's no problem with that, right?
If I wanted to chat with your employer or maybe arrange a boycott of your goods and services?
Post it.
