On nearby Arizona State: "Coach Kevin Mawae and coach Dave Christensen are both great coaches, and I've also been talking with coach Herm Edwards. They're all just great football minds, obviously. A lot of their set up is about the pro-style offense and they're getting their guys prepared for the next level; it's how they play the game of football. It's really intriguing to think about a school like that because I think they could prepare athletes for the next level."
On the Ducks: "The visit up there [earlier this year] was amazing and it felt more amazing the second time. The relationship with coach Alex Mirabal and coach Mario Cristobal is great. You don't really get to see an O-line coach and a head coach working together like that anywhere else, and coach Cristobal's offensive line background definitely makes them more enticing for any offensive lineman. The way they coach the game, with fast-paced practicing, is really intriguing and it was nice to watch. It puts into perspective what it takes to win a Rose Bowl."
On the Trojans: "I took an unofficial last year and I loved it there, but it wasn't really an in-depth tour because we didn't have much time. So I know I definitely want to take one of my officials there. I really like coach Tim Drevno and coach Clay Helton. We got to sit in on an offensive meeting and it was great to see how they coach their players. It was interesting to see all that and so I hope to get up there again for a closer look at everything." On the Huskies: "I was up there once before with my family and we did an unofficial visit. It was great to chat with coach Scott Huff and Matteo (Mele). We're definitely planning to take an official there, hopefully in the summer if that's possible. Coach Huff told me to look at the development of Matteo, who I was probably an inch taller than when he left Salpointe Catholic. He was much bigger physically when I saw him suiting up as a freshman than where I saw him as a senior in high school. It really put into perspective how they're getting guys ready for the next level."
On the Nittany Lions: "Coach Phil Trautwein reached out and wanted us to get out to campus for a visit but obviously we couldn't make it happen before everything was shut down. So he extended the scholarship offer anyway and it was big. It's one of the schools that I always thought about and hoped to get an offer from and I'm definitely interested. I've liked watching their games on TV since I was younger and immediately knew I'd have interest based on the reputation. Coach Trautwein has been great to catch up with on the Zoom calls and I really like the virtual tour I took of the school. I'm excited to see where the relationship goes."
On the Longhorns: "Texas is probably going to be my final official if things work out. I don't know when that will be, but I'm definitely excited about that one. Bijan Robinson will be there and he told me he'd try to be around for my visit. It's a great prospect to be able to play with Bijan again for however many years and maybe block for him. Coach Tom Herman and coach Herb Hand are awesome; they're funny and down to earth. They are meticulous and show you how to take your steps. You can really tell that both guys love the sport and care about football."
