His brand is such that he was able to successfully lobby for his own subforum, a separate and much-needed off-topic refuge free from the stench of the Tug Tavern. Good football takes. Classic rock aficionado. Lover of poles (lulz). Perhaps greatest of all, he’s a fanatical history buff and his posts about past Husky glory, be it football or rowing or anything, are always eye-openers and worth the read.

Chest was a second hand metrics guy - Percival made the statements and Chest championed them. He didn't grasp all the science behind it though, at least not while he was here, he just understood that they meant something.
Fremont understands what metrics mean and what they don't.
