I don’t have a huge beef with the Seattle $15 per hour min wage. Didn’t support it but what evs. $15 nationally is fucking idiotic.

All minimum wages are idiotic. Making it illegal for people to work who aren’t worth the minimum wage is immoral.
I was against $15 an hour in Seattle for the reasons you and @Southerndawg have stated here. But it’s a high rent district up here and not a hill worth dying on. That said, $15 an hr in Topeka, KS is like $25 or $30 an hour is Seattle. It’s a ludicrous number for all but the 10 or so most expensive cities in the US.
I’m against a minimum wage because I actually care about the poor.
Yes paying poor people less money helps them. Damoan on economics right there.
Economic ignorance and Hondo go hand in hand.
Oh that's right. Mike thinks that when you raise minimum wage, business owners cut jobs. Even tho that's never happened in the history of minimum wage increases.
Yes it has, and it is, right now. And you’re a fucking idiot.

When the Murray commissioned UW study came out showing that jobs had been eliminated on account of the $15 MW, Murray had to scramble and hire a MW Advocate Cal Prof and Sawant Acolyte who’d never written anything but pieces supporting MWs as “living wages” to compile a quick & dirty bullshit study to contradict the UW’s findings.

And last week the biggest restaurant chain in the NW filed bankruptcy, citing the MW as a key contributing factor.

So Fuck Off, Burger Boy. You don’t know shit about the consequences of the $15 MW in the PNW.
$15 is only in a couple cities in Washington. And I know what business owners cite as their excuses. But it's usually shitty business models as the true cause. Ask Dick's if the minimum wage is hurting their business.

What you aren't saying about restaurants unlimited is their revenue is going down (shitty business model) and they leveraged $40 million of debt. They started to try to sell to another company in 16 without a buyer. They haven't paid debt since January. That's not a minimum wage issue. But keep reading redstate.com, whatever makes you feel better.
They’ve only been in the restaurant business with a “shitty business model” since 1969, so what would they know, right Hondo?

    You’re a fucking idiot, Hondo.

It takes a special kind of retard to compare Dick’s business model to RUI.

But we’ve got that special retard - Hondo - on these boreds.

    We’re so fortunate.

Did you read the Seattle times article? Read John Howie's comments. They were bought in 07. That company leveraged the shit out of it, pulled the cash, and then blames liberals. Plenty of other restaurants operating just fine with $15 minimum wage. Ask John Howie how his restaurants are doing with minimum wage increase.

Dick agrees with me. Have a good business model and minimum wage hikes don't matter.

Tahlib has raised the ante to a 20 dollar minimum wage.

    Why stop there?

Since wage laws don’t affect employment it should be $200/hour. Gas pumpers will be living in $800k houses and vacationing in Europe. Everyone is entitled to two weeks in Monaco. Why is it fair that only rich people get to go? Lowe’s toilet salesman work just as hard as Jeff Bezos. Maybe harder.
With 12 11.4 years to go, why the fuck not? Let's right out our time on this desiccated cinder with an epic bender, bitches.

I always wondered why the Dems don't just go for the gold and raise the minimum wage to like $35 an hour. That way, everyone who works is guaranteed at least a middle class lifestyle. Seems like a no-brainer to me. It's almost as if they don't want to make a sudden massive increase because they know everyone will then be able to much more clearly see how minimum wage laws don't do shit to help anyone's financial situation. It's always small increases here and there, incremental increases over time, etc to keep the illusion going. Come on, pussies...raise that shit to $200 an hour so that EVERYONE can see and feel the effects of what minimum wage laws actually do.

Seriously, you guys saying the higher minimum wage like that are just being dumb. Best like when you lower taxes, there's diminishing returns. When you ride minimum wage, there's diminishing returns.

How about this, right now the liberal states are successful, so raise their minimum wage to $15, a lot of the cities are there anyway. Then the conservative states which are struggling, we can raise their minimum wage to say $10. Compromise, amazing what it can do.

And don’t have a “good business model” then low wage people are unemployed. I’m sure they are happy to the company they used to work for that if they just had a better business model they would still have a job.

You wouldn’t know a good business model if you were hit over the head with one. Fuck wit.

Once again hondos willful ignorance of basic Econ on full display.

Have you actually researched how diminishing returns applies to everything that's affected by minimum wage laws?
