It’s sad that so many our our? fans (and the AD for that matter) have no clue about the ‘85 Orange Bowl and what a huge game it was. Oklahoma was a monster program and DJ took his boys all the way across the country and whooped ‘em.

I was working at the Redstone Arsenal in Alabama that year - had been talking to some folks about coming up to Seattle to work. Then the dawgs vs USC was't going to be televised nationally, I quickly accepted a job, left my wife and kids in Huntsville (they drove up to Seattle a couple of weeks later with her dad's help) and drove from Alabama to Seattle in 2 1/2 days. Rolled in on Friday so I could watch the game and the Dawgs loose to the Trojans. Lost the national title to BYWho? that year. $2800 only 6-month lease. Im tearing down after upzone for 7 units. Ill hold you a small unit. Only $2200 , but there'll be underground parking.
