    I can see him as a 3rd option but not sure that he can get above that ... point taken

    Going into this year I could see Tatum being somewhere in the low 1st to high 2nd range ... he’s probably in the 2nd to high 3rd going into this offseason

    Cousins and Rondo to the Lakers on 1 year deals.

    I thought it didn't workout for AD and Cousins last time, but now that Cousins is clearly a step behind AD (and LeBron) it might be different?

    They were rolling when Cousins got traded

    The Lakers had to try for Kawhi.

    They have two guys as good as anyone. If Lebron breaks down then it didn't matter anyway

    Kawhi has missed a season and 20 games or so this year

    Seems like everyone is breaking down

    Give the Lakers three point shooters and they have as good a shot as anyone

    The league went small to beat the Warriors making it ripe to exploit with Davis and Cousins down low. Lebron at the point and Kuzma on the wing.

    Rondo runs the second unit and get three point shooters

    I'll take it as a plan B. Size matters again

    The Lakers grabbed a bunch of scrubs that are largely worthless ... the fact that Cousins couldn't get a deal above what he got with the Warriors last year tells you all you need to know about how he's viewed by the league
