I have a guy in Walla Walla who says that it's down between the LA teams and Toronto with Kawhi. Kawhi wants to be in LA but will give Toronto the last pitch for his services.

I have no idea why the Warriors would sign Russell. That is a bad move. You can’t hide him and Curry on defense. It’s not a place for a ball dominant guard. There are already rumors that Russell will get traded. This was probably more about swapping Iguodala’s expiring contract for a young asset.
Horford was a weird signing by the 76ers. I don’t hate it though. They won’t miss Butler or Redick too much. Redick is too shitty defensively to be counted on as a big minutes player at this point. Josh Richardson is good and helps them get more athletic.
Butler is one of those guys that is a complete waste on a max contract because he doesn’t really move the needle and he’s a cancer. They also should have fired Brown.
@Tequilla, Ballmer isn’t moving the team to Seattle. Don’t be stupid.
Best chance for Seattle getting a team in the next 5 years is for Zion to blow out a knee and his achilles. That'd be the final death blow to the NBA in New Orleans.
People (@tequila) still think Jaylen brown is good? Jfc
Jaylen Brown is what ... 23? Far from a finished product
Been in the league 3 years. One of the worst court iqs in the league, shit teammate, hasn’t improved his shot since coming into the league—those things aren’t getting better. His peak is a 2nd/3rd guy off the bench. The only reason he’s somewhat serviceable is because Brad Stevens is a genius (see; Evan turner).

Not a finished product, but will never be better than a 4th option on a real championship team.
I can see him as a 3rd option but not sure that he can get above that ... point taken
Going into this year I could see Tatum being somewhere in the low 1st to high 2nd range ... he’s probably in the 2nd to high 3rd going into this offseason
The Lakers grabbed a bunch of scrubs that are largely worthless ... the fact that Cousins couldn't get a deal above what he got with the Warriors last year tells you all you need to know about how he's viewed by the league

Fuck both those guys.
#neverforget
They won’t have cap space for the duration of the Steph/Klay contracts

I thought it didn't workout for AD and Cousins last time, but now that Cousins is clearly a step behind AD (and LeBron) it might be different?
The Lakers had to try for Kawhi.
They have two guys as good as anyone. If Lebron breaks down then it didn't matter anyway
Kawhi has missed a season and 20 games or so this year
Seems like everyone is breaking down
Give the Lakers three point shooters and they have as good a shot as anyone
Rondo runs the second unit and get three point shooters
I'll take it as a plan B. Size matters again
Super fun move for the league.
