Feds witholding is 22% on bonuses upto a million bucks regardless of your tax bracket. No way the govt is withholding 59% on a bonus. Clearly additional missing information on that story or it’s just pure bullshit.

To be in the 37% tax bracket, your income has to be over $400k. And social security ends under $130k.
