Call them whatever you want. They aren't being gassed or forced to perform slave labor like they would in many other countries in the world, including their own, if you buy their bullshit asylum claims.
What a load of fucking garbage. Do the Dems think this is going to help them?
Yes, and it will probably energize the Hispanic vote quite a bit. They've also decided they don't want to win the old union whites they used to be able to court so well. Bold strategy.
Let's just lay this out there for those of us who are a little slow on the uptake.
The use of the term "concentration camp" took on a whole new meaning after WWII, and it no longer means what the literal words mean any moar. It means a horrific place that, upon liberating them, shook the souls of hardened military officers who'd spent the previous few years up to their elbows in guts and body parts fighting a war. Incidents of inhuman behavior so depraved that our military made local towns folk walk in and see it up close and participate in the grave digging as punishment for having stood by and say they didn't know.
I have no idea what the conditions are like. None. Likely nobody here does either. They could well be brutal and shitty and shameful. IDFK.
What I do know, w/o even lifting a finger to research it, is that they are not fucking concentration camps, and if I were a Jew I'd be really fucking offended that she has chosen to use that term.
Also if you use the term "concentration camps" in connection with the words "Never Again" you're definitely referring the Jewish Holocaust at the hands of the Nazis. Any one defending this dolt deserves whatever grief comes their way.

Could the Japanese Americans in the “concentration camps” Takei refers to leave at any time simply deciding to return home?
APAG agrees with everything she has ever said.

It's not hyperbole; it's fucking insensitive.
