WSU paid close to $3.5 million to settle a class action over a data breach. No rape. Just data breach. UW just agreed to pay $125,000 in legal fees to the College Republicans because they were going to charge them a $17,000 fee, which the group claimed was unconstitutional.
The word "assault" wasn't involved in either case, and the schools wrote the check.
