Thread made in honor of Samek's "Gilby will go 12-0" in 2003 augury, which forever epitomizes fucktarded tardcake doogitry.
I'll go first.
I said after 2016 that Browning would match the leap he made from the '15 season to '16 and would be a Heisman candidate. I even chastised @Dennis_DeYoung for pointing out how flagrantly terrible Browning was. I was supremely confident he'd be a great player for us.
Ouch.
non-UW ppl can post predictions they made for their respective schools
Not so much a prediction but . . . . . . .
The only year that I EVER had non-student season tickets to UW football was in . . . . . . . .(of course). . . . . . .
Owen2008. Living 2500 miles away required a significant amount of effort to make it to the home games. Even so, I went to at least one road game (at Arizona - planned in advance) that year and had Hawaii season tickets the same year. I think Oklahomo was my last home UW game that I attended that year.
Couldn't even fucking give away the tickets I didn't use
I am nearly as old as Race and I actually picked "THAT" year as the only year to buy season tickets.
Back around the time college football message boards started, I posted that Brock Huard would be a Heismanfinalist but not win it only because UW wouldn’t get the media coverage for people to vote for him.
I was skeptical of Ty’s hire but thought he’d be able to connect with the inner city athletes.
I thought the end of the 2010 season & Holiday Bowl victory meant we? were back and that Nick Holt was going to be a great DC for us.
1) Willingham was wrongly fired from ND and would bring structure, integrity and be the guy to get UW football back on track. 2) I barked for Sark, very loudly I might add 3) 1998 was going to be OUR year (I was 9, so sue me)
It is well known that after the Syracuse game I publicly stated Lockner would win the Heisman and lead us to a NC. I also named my dick Ten after his dog. I am a well known dumbfuck.
I come from a family of ND graduates and literally screamed in horror when UW hired Willingham. To this day I do not understand the argument that he could even remotely be considered a hire worthy of this program. Or that ND unjustly fired him. Remember, his recruiting had gotten so lazy that Notre Dame was effectively in the death penalty two years after he left. The subject still triggers me.
1. Tyrone Willingham at ND lost 8 games by at least 3 touchdowns. By comparison, Bob Davie lost 4 games by 3 touchdowns and Gerry Faust lost 3 games by 3 touchdowns. I read it. Didn't actually come across an example of a bad prediction, or any prediction for that matter.
