Crack didn't really became a huge problem until after Reagan was out of office. The homeless problem in the 1980s compared to now is a complete joke. Far, far worse now. Congress during all of Reagan's Presidency was controlled by Rats. How did he gut the mental health system without the Rats signing off on it.

Then, as now, the Senate was majority Republican in 1981.

Reagan emptying the mental health hospitals is now an article of faith even though the left was for it and in the 30-40 years since then nothing has been done to reverse it

Ken Keysey was not a RR Republican

That's what you get after 8 years of Congress ruled by Republicans and 2 years of all 3 controlled by Republicans.

Correct, I should have been more precise. The House, where all spending starts, was held by the Rats during all of Reagan's 8 years in office. Question still stands and of course you dodged it.

Homelessness is now a Federal problem? Hondo wants a Federal program to help him wipe his own ass.

Why is it that the states with the worse homeless problems are all controlled by Rats Hondo?

Do you forget that the president submits the budget to Congress? I feel that's where spending starts. No?

Rhetorical questions don’t require answers, unless you have Aspergers, of course.

Sorry if that facts makes your Kunt hurt. Late 80s early 90s is when crack really exploded.

Yes in 2 whole months, liberal control over the house eradicated homelessness.

It wasn't rhetorical. Come on Mr. History, how did Reagan gut the mental health system without the support of the House?

Always take the word of a person born 2 years after Reagan left office. No substitute for experience.
