I just read the headline. But isn't that letter just saying that since Cali cancelled the high speed rail project. They don't get the federal Grant anymore. I mean I think that's what should happen and California expected.

Newsom replied to the President in a tweet: "We're building high-speed rail," adding, "This is CA's money, allocated by Congress for this project. We're not giving it back."

Was this part of California's expectation?

— the border wall “national emergency” is coming next.
