Why haven't we been in contact with Bijan Robinson and we are recruiting TX RBs?

What the fuck are we doing?
Seriously. What the fuck are we doing?
You guys think we should trust KB on this?? lololololol
Or let cap'n Moobs stroke himself to all his fucking instagram thots on fucking twitter because he's so fucking lazy he won't even making a fucking instagram burner to stroke it to thots?
We've been sending shit out to the slow poke Sunday and fucking ZACH EVANS. ZACH EVANS IS NEVER COMING TO UW.
Bijan Robinson is a VERY LIKELY TARGET. The difference between Bijan and Zach is not huge.
K. MILTON ELIMINATED US in a top 10.
What the fuck is going on with RB recruiting?
Seriously.

Nothing...nothing at all.

I think HH members should find out where Petersen lives and drone-leaflet bomb his house with recruiting updates and pointers ... like KB hasn't contacted Bijan in a long time!
Sounds like a good idea to me.
People, even guys like Petersen who are pretty aware of stuff going on, have their blind spots ... -
I completely agree Dennis but would you be happy with Adams and Ngata as our 2 backs this class?Dennis_DeYoung said:Bijan is one of the best RBs in the country from Matteo Mele's HS. We have had 4 years of Gaskin.

NO. Jesus fuck.
WHY ARE WE RECRUITING ZACH EVANS??
We aren’t getting Ngata and he’s not even close to Robinson.
Fucking what is our problem?? -
I've been saying we should fire Boner for ages now, and all it got me was a really unfunny stalker.

Why are our fans already trying to get comfortable with another top 17 class in fucking FEBRUARY after 4 years of MMFG? JFC

So, who do we hire?
Upon cursorily looking, why did this guy not join our staff in 2018, instead of Stanford?
https://gostanford.com/coaches.aspx?rc=2316
He even coached at Boise State! Never on the same staff as Chrispy, but neither did Sleepy Adams...
So, what about this guy? He's even got S/T experience!

So he loves UCLA because theyve actually made the effort to get him on campus early. He’s teammates with Lathan Ransom and former teammates with Matteo Mele. He really isn’t considering any other PAC-12 schools right now but the second he is, he mentions Washington and KB. Myles Gaskin has shared the backfield his entire career and I would be telling Bijan and Sam that all the time. There’s no excuse to have Jayveon Sunday on campus but not Bijan. -
Way too early to panic.
-
It’s pure laziness. At the minimum if you’re not going to work to get them on campus early, at least communicate with them enough to keep the kid informed of what’s going on so he’s not out here searching for things to say/think about your school. You can tell more about what schools are making an effort, not necessarily which ones have his highest interest, just by his ability to talk about specific things about some schools and only generic statements about others including UW.LaMichael_Corleone said:https://youtu.be/hsFEVjvNt94

Ngata and Charbonnet say hi. This is exactly what happened with them. Out of state schools came out, made an effort to keep talking with them and worked to get them on campus, while we were sleep walking in our communication with them in the spring thinking the fact we gave them an “early offer” for our standards was enough to hold their attention. Then when we were done with spring practices and the coaches go back to check in with them and they are already too far gone with too much ground for us to makeup by that point.StrongArmCobra said:Way too early to panic.

Yeah it's better to freak out after it's too late to course-correct. I love how Petersen waits forever to change things that don't work.StrongArmCobra said:Way too early to panic.

So let’s view our strategy of going quiet on guys for periods of time, assuming we have others in the bag, being too precious about our position by position allocation, recruiting guys who only bleed purple and gold, not emphasizing recruiting because Pete knows he can out develop other teams, etc. and compare it to the attitude Mario Cristobal has.

I love making fun of Oregon just as much as anyone but all they’re doing in recruiting is outworking us. Imagine if our players lost a game to an inferior team because they didn’t try hard enough to leave no stone unturned. The same way we’d treat the players for being lazy and losing to team they have no business losing to, is the same way we need to treat Pete for losing recruits to inferior opponents. Getting blown out on the field by 5-7 USC needs to be the same as getting blown out by 5-7 USC for Jude Wolfe. -
There's only so many hours in a day. Time has to be allocated between recruiting and working on improving the current roster's performance through hours of film study, brainstorming, play designing, etc. A coaching staff that recruits 24/7 isn't getting any better at coaching and scheming or improving the team they have. That's why a staff of just recruiters never fucking works. You reach a ceiling of 6-9 wins depending on talent level, depth, and experience of the roster and that's as good as it gets. Recruiting is getting better for UW every year so you can see the effort put in by UW's staff, but at the same time they need to bust their asses to fix this suck ass offense and make Eason as comfortable and productive as possible.LaMichael_Corleone said:So let’s view our strategy of going quiet on guys for periods of time, assuming we have others in the bag, being too precious about our position by position allocation, recruiting guys who only bleed purple and gold, not emphasizing recruiting because Pete knows he can out develop other teams, etc. and compare it to the attitude Mario Cristobal has.

At the end of the day, winning is what gets you better recruits. Oregon is selling hope right now because they've improved their record every year from 4-8. Their win trajectory is upward right now but will plateau next season and beyond at about 7-8 wins per season. After that, they won't be so hot on the recruiting trail no matter how hard they work at it. Sustained mediocrity gets you mediocre recruits. If you ain't winning, all that extra shit just looks like fake ass gimmicky bullshit.
Everybody loses recruits to inferior opponents. UW could win the national championship and still lose recruits to inferior opponents. Some kids are stupid, some kids are paid for, and early playing time will always have a few elite recruits going to mediocre programs like Oregon. -

It's really hard to understand why Bonerpopper still is on staff ... the overall recruiting at the position largely has not been good enough
At best, he's gotten what he should be getting locally ...
I'm not sure that he's won anything outside of state that makes you go wow ...
I really like Cam Davis ... but that's probably the best he's gotten out of state by far and he's a step back from the elite level guys. -
I wish Bonerpopper wasn’t black so I could want him fired more.

Im hearing the view is a lot different from inside the program.

Plenty of RB's not rated 5-stars have performed like 5-stars in college. That doesn't mean shit. He's underrated even as a 4-star. Davis is elite. He's the complete package and has all the physical tools. KB got one of the top two RB's on the West coast with Davis. Y'all keep saying "why is he not fired?" and I'm telling you that's why.DawgFader said:
