Could he have a lower bar to overcome? Just dont handicap the offence with throwing the ball into cbs hands on throw aways and then be able to throw further than 10 yards down the field. The reality is that the defense will take a step back next year incorporating a lot of youth and it wouldn't shock me if the D gave up in the neighborhood of 20-24 points per game next year (particularly in the 1st half of the season). We gave up on average 18 a game on D last year in P5 games and scored 24 in those games.

I only look at P5 games for those totals ... and given the youth, there will be growing pains on D particularly up front.
Lake/Kwat are going to have a lot of work ahead of them and I'm not entirely sure that we'll be able to sit back in our bend but don't break defense at all times.

Agree. I am thinking of Eason's success in terms of scoring and expect at least a 10 ppg increase over last year's shit show. And zero games without offensive TD's.
I think throwing darts and frozen ropes in the red zone will have a more positive impact on our wins and loss total than scrambling backwards to get out of field goal range will.

I want 30+ TD's... less than 10 picks and chunks in the passing game down the damn field. That's HIS goal. The team's goal should be NY6 at a minimum. Our schedule is easy as shit next year.
