Harbaugh had won big at two schools as a head coach when hired by Michigan. And coached in a Super Bowl as head coach.
It is hard to imagine a more slam dunk hire and yet he has yet to even win a division title in the B1G. Or be like Penn State and pick up the scraps after Ohio State eats.
He basically goes 10-3 every year which isn't horrible but it also isn't what fans thought they were getting
Right at the end of the press conference when Pete started crying talking about his family, it looked to me like he had feelings of regret, as in he feels like he wasted time coaching stupid football. To wit, he said he won't be around the football program very much in his ongoing role.
Is this what I want out of humans in general? Of course. But, can a man with such feelings and sentiments coach a high profile football team? Absolutely not; it is a job for sociopaths only.

It’s game played and coached by morons watched by morons.

Wasn't that one of the most endearing and encouraging things about Pete, though, that he was a pretty smart guy in a land of tards?
