McDuffie is the best CB on the team. I don’t know if he’s better overall than Myles Bryant right now, but he’s definitely the best at coverage. He’s been a bright spot. He’s looking like a 3 and done.
That says a lot, even though I think Hampton and Kyler are going to be good. But this kid is special...he is so physical. His was partially responsible for that safety we had this year and he is not afraid to get dirty and tackle on run support
Not sure on Hampton because we haven’t seen much of him, but Gordon is going to be good. He took a lot of shit for the Cal game, but he’s young and it’s just a matter of time before it clicks. You can see the talent. He might be better at nickel or safety.
Don't forget about Julius Irvin, too.
He is the forgotten man because we have nothing to judge him off other than he doesn’t play.
First off there is no guarantee that every snap Jones plays is at Opera’s expense. Opera should already be benched for Puka (and chincredible lol) but Jones might cut into Puka’s PT as well.
Second, you guys forget that Ty wasn’t very good last year when healthy. First game back with rust and poor conditioning means likely to let team down at key time. Especially since nobody on the team can apparently catch Eason’s balls after four years of Browning ducks and Jones had his hand/arm immobilized for months.

Odd that a team with red zone woes would lead the nation in this category. What’s our average starting field position?
Bill Connelly has us? as the #2 special teams unit in the country, I imagine this has a lot to do with it. 100% on field goals probably has a huge impact. We? also haven't turned the ball over much.

Add in that Stanford barely let us get any plays off during one of our atrocious offensive outings.

If we beat Oregon and therefore look likely to make Conference Championship then bring him back against Colorado. (Colorado-WSU-PAC-Bowl.)
If not then ease him back against OSU. (OSU-Colorado-WSU-Bowl.)
