Coming off an 8-5 season where we didn't play the best players, Pete quit. Our 1st year HC hired an assistant rb coach who prefers the east coast, doesn't like to recruit, and failed as an OC at a Power 5 school.
Then we kept our esteemed LB coach who can't recruit and played Kyler Manu over better younger plays.

I just said that to get Kim off my back. But i'm still holding out hope that they guys can coach and we will have a successful season which will lead these recruits back to us. And there are a couple of wildcards that could commit to us but until I see Jimmy close, I won't get my hopes up.

I think he underestimated how badly Donovan would be received. Donovan's name is absolutely being killed right now and it's working because the guy can't recruit. It this offense does well the first four weeks, a lot of that negativity will be put to bed and you will see a lot of recruits give Washington a second chance but if he fails then it's going to be a disaster.

That's absolutely FS Jimmy didn't realize that would happen...kinda frightening actually. Nobody GAF about a TE coach or an assistant DB coach which is why this response didn't pop up the first time. Will be interesting to see his next coaching hire/decision...will know real quick if Jimmy has a clue or will be a 3 year and done/lifetime DC.
