The PORTAL

You’re not Clemson. You’re not Alabama. You’re Wisconsin. HTH.theknowledge said:If you are Les Miles or Mack Brown and you are trying to rebuild a depleted roster then yes, the portal seems like a good way to refill not your depth but to upgrade your starting line up due to the availability of immediate playing time. If you are Washington, Clemson or Alabama then bringing in guys who were not interested in competition or waiting their turn to start may be a bad idea. QB would be the major outlier here. They seem to have a much lower hit rate than most positions in recruiting and finding a good one can change the outlook on your season immediately. See, State, Ohio for confirmation of this fact.

I dunno, 11-2, top 10 finish sounds pretty Wisconsinish to me.salemcoog said:

The transfer portal is quite interesting honestly, does not list your position at first, only your name and former school. I'd assume this means that kids were already on the radars of coaches before entering the portal.
