That's in dog years. Uncle @RaceBannon is really 469 years old.greenblood said:
62? I think you're doing well since you can remember details of a doctor visit from 40 years agoRaceBannon said:My doctor was giving me shit about insurance today. I said we really don't want to go there
70$ cop pay and 60 bucks of pills cash. I think I'm up to 3 or 4 grand a month for insurance thanks to all the fixing that has happened
He's like you're 62 now and you need it. I said I don't need a cabinet full of drugs like you did to my mom because she was old
He also told me I am going to have a stroke so I relented to some high blood pressure medicine
If I disappear you know why

Mine was also awesome until about 2014 and then the price of it skyrocketed. $70 initially, ditched it at $500 a month, it's now well over $1k a month for the same insurance.MikeDamone said:

Mine was a "free" as you could get because my employer paid for it. That went out the window
All so we could move a few million off of one government program to another and claim victory -
Luckily my employer stepped up to the plate(privately owned company) and gave us great insurance(for now). $20k bill for my daughter's delivery. Paid $150 total.RaceBannon said:

Of course, that has effectively locked me into my employer and ended my labor mobility(which I'm sure the president knew when he ponied up for the insurance, smart guy). -
Eh. I think if most owners/executives could do away with healthcare being at all the company's responsibility they wouldUW_Doog_Bot said:

Agree completely. I disagree with APAG on piles of shit politically, but I respect the fact that he owns his positions, defends them, and doesn't whine like a bitch all the time like most of the other democratic socialists here.RaceBannon said:

I used to have the whole family covered and paid for by the boss. If I had stayed there we'd probably go 50/50 on the cost for me alone -
This is exactly why we should go to Medicare for all. Businesses need to find a way to profit more every year. And one way is to cut benefits from their workers.RaceBannon said:

El oh El at Canadians flooding to hospitals in Seattle. Reminds me of Bob's claim that he sits in the ER for hours with a bunch of illegals.
