With Gaines now gone, along with fellow seniors Shane Bowman and Jaylen Johnson, Onwuzurike now becomes the elder-statesmen along the Husky defensive line, but there is no lack of talent on hand to plug into the lineup as Washington has recruited very well over the past couple of years.
Tuli Letuligasenoa, Mosiah Nasili-Liu, Draco Bynum and Sam Taimani all redshirted this past season and are expected to battle for reps during the spring and the fall while players like Faatui Tuitele, Jacob Bandes, Sama Paama and Noa Ngalu are four big-time prospects who recently signed with Washington and will be in the mix for playing time this fall.

My guess:. The DL will be better. Gaines is obviously a big loss. String was pretty good too. Thing is *we'll be younger and less proven, but Levi is a star in the making and the sheer number of talented prospects to throw at the position group is going to result in an overall upgrade.
