I’ve got no problem with anybody sitting out due to injury ...

I don’t like the not playing to avoid getting hurt ...

I don’t like the message the latter sends to your teammates ... it’s totally a selfish mood in my mind

I don’t have first hand knowledge on Taylor so it’s hard to say. Appearances don’t look good. Some of the tidbits that have leaked from former players come off as unpleased.

It is what it is at this point ... best of luck

If he was 100% healthy he would have played. No doubt he was hurt, but so are most players at this point of the season. I don't wish him any ill will and hope he succeeds in the future, but as one of the defensive leaders, he let the team down.

If you think the agency representing Rapp that created his thank you Twitter graphic advised him to play if he was healthy, then I can’t help you.

Since this became a phenomenon a few years ago we haven’t heard a peep from teammates of players who do this being bothered by it. So while you might not like the message it sends, his teammates are clearly supportive of it. Probably because they’re all working towards the same goal and aren’t going to hold it against someone for furthering their goal and protecting it. You can whine all you want, but clearly the ones who matter don’t give a shit.

Pete needs to send a message that it's not okay for players to do this. And he needs to do this by having an end-of-season pizza party at Pizza Hut or Godfather's and inviting everyone on the team except Rapp. You miss the bowl game, you miss the pizza party.

Sound awfully punitive except Godfather’s is in hospice, or dead, and nobody likes Pizza Hut.
