If this is a "shift" then there must have been a time when the number of men who said that they shouldn't help others was less than 9 out of 10. Unless you're saying the "shift" was that it used to be 10 out of 10.

Millennials do nothing. Except the youngest woman ever elected to Congress is a millennial, you’ll call her an idiot though. We’re more educated, more racially diverse, less racist and less sexist than you. As a whole we are none of the things you guys will accuse us of being. The truth is we are the younger much more beautiful sister and you guys, the older sisters, fucking hate us for it.
Now for the really bad news, we’re fucking huge and we’re just now hitting the age when people start voting. And thanks to our buddy Trump, millennials are now reflexively left. Whether you think it’s right or wrong we associate the right and right wing policies with hate. With everything we grew up being against. This is not a they’ll grow out of it situation. All we’re going to do is grow into who we are and unless you have the ability to stop the passage of time there’s nothing you can do about it.
There is some good news though. You can keep talking shit, as much shit as you want. Because when we get into power we will treat you with the same kindness and compassion that we treat everyone else with. No hard feelings because that’s who the fuck we are. -
