Pete doesn't win big games...

... narrative needs to stop. Both P12CCG were big games, Stanford 16 was a big game. Apple Cup 16-18 were big games. The correct term is "doesn't win NY6 games",,,, for now.

I don't think there's any metric that last night's game would be considered a "Big game", without completely watering down the term. Oregons Pac 12 title game wins over Arizona and UCLA definitely weren't "big games". Those teams sucked. A big win is against a legit top 10 team. Pete gets his chance at his big game win vs. the Buckeyes.

Big games are by definition games with a lot at stake. Doesn't matter if the other division is weaker, they beat you they get the title.

Utah and their fans wanted that fucker bad last night. They're pretty good, albeit flawed. It was a big game.

As you quickly pointed out after Oregon blew it against them, Utah is blind and retarded on offense. Come on now.

Definitely was a big game environment. You could feel the excitement in the air. The biggest game ever played in front of 12,000 people

Still a big game. They win they get first ever Pac 12 title and go to the Rose bowl. The fact that they're flawed or that the stadium wasn't packed doesn't mean shit.

Pete won the fiesta bowl against Oklahoma and Bush was credited with calling the statue of liberty play.

    Ok!

As long as "flawed" means blind and retarded I'm down.

Wazzu was a very big game and Pete's biggest win since being in UW, IMHO. Last night was a better-produced pre-Labor Day high school game on ESPN2.

Like others have said, having the game in a city that doesn't care about college football, let alone Pac 12 football is stupid. Utah actually showed pretty well though. UW didn't.

Just needs to be higher seed hosts the game. We can't do the neutral site NFL stadium that the other conferences do.
I'm beginning to agree with this. It makes the conference look small time, but with the geography of the conference most fans can only fly depending on where the game is. Big 10/Big 12/SEC/ACC, most schools can drive easily to the neutral site.
