So we’re going to grow a new secondary from stem cells? That’s what the new science campus is for...oregonblitzkrieg said:
We beat #7 and lost because we shot ourselves in the foot with every fluky play benefiting the other team. We beat #7 again, this time it stuck. The cougs should be worried, but there's a lot to clean up this week.AZDuck said:
Our secondary is not good. It’s gonna be a problem unless we kill their QBoregonblitzkrieg said:

OBK Logic.
Pissing a game away at home to Stanford = win.
Winning because the other team missed a 37 yard walkoff FG = win. -
Sounds like you’re saying the same thing.dhdawg said:OBK Logic.

Not losing to shitty teams is not good enough.YellowSnow said:
The flip side to this coin Bazey is that Pete's teams don't tend to lose (i.e. Get upset by) to the shitty teams. This is a tough loss and sucks ass but it's not a programimg defining disaster. Oregon is roughly equal to us right now TBS wise and we're not at a point as a program still where we win this game every time. We've run the table once in the PAC in the past 40 years.PurpleBaze said:
It's not just Oregon.YellowSnow said:
I don't buy that for one second. You guys are acting like a bunch of candy asses. Oregon has talent on their roster and we played them in a tough road environment and lost in OT. So fucking be it. That's college football.DerekJohnson said:
you watch. They will point to this game as the turning pointYellowSnow said:Oh for crying out loud. This isn't 1994 at all.
Every game has had moments that point to coaching deficiency. Game time management leaves a lot to be desired.
At the beginning of the season I said we drop one to either Utah, UCLA, or Oregon. So far the script is working out as I expected.
Good game management would have resulted in a win today. Maybe beat ASU last year. Maybe not have the Cooper fumble in year 1.
I'm not going to crown his ass for the simple fact of not losing to shitty teams.
Anyway, he's the best we can do at this time. Either he changes some of his tendencies or well just have to wait to doog it up for the next coach. -
To make things fair, Stanford should give the game away to Washington and all records will be as they should be.dhdawg said:OBK Logic.

Nah, we should give the game to Stanford and let them keep their tiebreaker to spite the ducks.ToiletBowl1983 said:

How about Oregon is good and they beat UW? And Pete and Hamden orchestrated a masterful game-winning drive? And a RS frosh kicker missed a long extra point to win game? Stalin...GET YOUR HEAD OUT YOUR ASS

This. Both teams turned out to be good and evenly matched.
