There aren’t 10 million examples of teams kneeling the game to death and then punting it in to oblivion?Mosster47 said:
There aren't five million examples. No one calculates a late punt.MikeSeaver said:Oregon could have literally handed the ball off to Standford with 15~ seconds to go in the exact same spot with zero timeouts. Instead they gave it to them in the exact same spot with 1 minute to go and a time out.
It’s not as if Oregon had played a clean game up to that point handling the ball.
You can name the one time kneeling the game out didn’t work, I’ll show you the 5 million times it did.
Herberts first down ended the game.
Yeah. That never happens.

Axe Chip Kelly.
You think they kneel on the ball, beat one of the conf favorites, this team then emotionally folds the rest of the season because they didn’t prove how tough they are on 2nd and 2? Or can’t get a 2nd and 2 somewhere down the road because they didn’t try in week one vs Stanford?
Oh ok.
That wasn’t fucking, practice.
No one kneels there. You kneel when it's mathematical over. If Oregon kneels three times they have to punt against a 10 man rush with a 15 yard snap and the worst football player on the team catching it.
If Stanford stops Oregon on third down then of course you punt. Here is how FS stupid fans are. Zero people have complained about the 8 yard run on first down, but trying to get a 2 yard run on second down was a terrible idea. GTFOutta here.
Here is the FS equivalent: You hop in your car to run to the corner store and you get in an accident and die. Your FS family members wonder why you didn't just walk? Well because no adult with a car walks to stores and you could have been run over by a car walking and they'd wonder why you didn't drive. -

No one besides Jim Harbaugh calculatedly punts the ball up by 3 late. You're being a fucktard.

Yeah you might question that. On the other hand, I'm not familiar with the alternatives. My impression is that Oregon is running backs are all small and fast. And I don't know who the veterans are now.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Run Herbert rather than a fucking freshman RB with the game on the line like that.
-
Correct. All you badasses saying you run the ball to show how god damned TUFF you are, if you don’t want to kneel, put the QB under center and have him lay down forward twice then put your cowboy boots on and kick it into the fucking porking lot.
-
It's not about being tough fuck job. How stupid are you? You have a running back with 130+ on 2nd & 2 to end the game.MikeSeaver said:Correct. If you kneel three times you punt against a 10 or 11 man rush where there is a 15 yard snap to a non-football player.
There was no bad decision made. The kid fucked it up. If the punter drops the ball you're the same jerk off screaming they should have went for the first down on the ground. -
Verdell would not have fucked up if he had been on the sidelines during that play, where he belonged. Inexperienced freshman RB. He wasn't ready to make the right decisions at the crucial moments. Needed to be a hero and dive for the extra yard, ended up looking like a fumbling loser instead. That lame call is on the coaches, 100%. They should have known better.Mosster47 said:

What does it matter? They still could have come back in overtime and they gave up.
Or Stanford is just built to grind you down in the second half which they also did to UW last year.
Either way no use talking about a freak play.
Oregon coaches deserve 100% of the blame if you're not a quook -

Stanford didn't grind shit, they were pushed around the whole game and capitalized on fluke shit, boneheaded plays by Oregon. Bryce Love was shut out of the game for the most part. Their QB and their tall, weird ass looking receivers were the difference.
