Benning had some whiffs, but overall, I think it was his best game. I think by the end of the season he will be really quite good. He's never going to be super fast twitch, but if he keeps his eyes in the right spots he should start making some of these plays.
The play where he grabbed the RB by his shoulder pads was epic at a crucial down and distance.
The worst part is benning is also spying on this play. He is just behind first down marker on the bottom of the screen at start of gif. BBK should be in the same yard line as benning on the opposite hash.
I can't believe how quick Gaines is over a short distance. How the hell did a guy that big get off a block and catch Huntley? I'm told he's the quickest linemen for the first 10 yards.
