N Y Times not FOX

Turns out @oregonblitzkrieg is in step with Amnesty International and other human rights groups

It was never a good look to not work for the Pentagon but agree to rig a search engine for the Chi Coms. Looks like neither may happen.

So then this means that Google's US search engine isn't rigged and all OBKs calls for government intervention are retarded?

American tech companies (Google, Apple and others) aiding and abetting America's largest threat in the 21st century, and in the process helping them oppress their own citizens while at the same time shitting all over the free speech principles that this nation was founded on. Fuck them. If there was ever a legitimate case for government intervention, this is it.

Be more like @USMChawk. He finally nutted up and started using QuookQuookGo. You won't because you know that you can punch in any QAnon keyword on Google and you'll get exactly what you're looking for. I've moved to Bing for porn. It's porn video search is amazing. You have choices.

Duckduckgo uses Bing results, so it's not a real alternative.

I wonder what Bing is up to in China. I can tell you for a fact that Bing works there just fine. I also know they heavily censor shit. It was very hard to find a single article or video critical of Mao Zedong using Bing in China. Those articles and videos that were available for public consumption were watered down and made no mention of the atrocities he was guilty of. Obviously they were approved by official channels, or they wouldn't have been available at all.

Bing is owned by Microsoft. The same far left company that owns MSN.com. Go on their newsfeed and read the shit and drivel they peddle every day there and tell me its not blatant propaganda for the left.

These companies will try to pull the same shit here if they can get away with it when it suits their political ends, or to cooperate with regimes that are hostile to America's founding principles. They already are. Imagine what they would do if the fucking socialists ever took power.

You're proving my point. Keep the government as far away from search engine regulation as possible or else you wind up on a slippery slope towards China.

Winnie the fucking poo is banned in China because he has an uncanny resemblance to Xi. I don't want to live in a world where I can't compare presidents to cartoon characters.

Tech company censorship needs to stop. They should voluntarily change their ways or it's going to be forced on them because people are really getting angry. Online, social media, google, facebook, twitter etc. are the public squares of the 21st century. It's where people go to get their news and communicate with one another. It's ludicrous to expect free speech rights not to be extended to that sphere. I would prefer the leadership of these tech companies start acting like responsible American citizens and respect the idea of free speech/exchange of ideas, or face the consequences. It's becoming increasingly apparent that we will need something like an Internet Bill of Rights of going forward.

That, or make companies that engage in censorship, state on the front page of their websites, in bold caps, that they engage in censorship of political/social viewpoints. And make them make their algorithms public.

Google interfering in the election and rigging their searches is bullshit. I agree they can do what they want but they should have to disclose their bias.

They should have to disclose their bias in the most public of ways. A bolded disclaimer on the top of every Google webpage, every Facebook and Twitter page. Go beyond that though. Punish companies that censor search results and opposing viewpoints by forbidding the government to partner or work with them in any way. Identify and strip away any subsidies or benefits given to them by the government.

Would we ever have allowed the old phone company to censor political speech and conversations they didn’t like? If you say things they didn’t like they could take away your calling privileges.

And would any liberal had ever said “hey if you don’t like it start your own phone company.”

Slap them with a censorship tax. If you don’t want to treat all speech in a neutral manner that’s fine, it’s your right but we are going to tax the shit out of you if you do it

I like that, somewhat, but it might be abused. The government never met a tax it didn't like. Making these tech companies reveal their algorithms and put a public disclaimer on every page they operate, labeling them as free speech censors and making them wear that dubious distinction of shame around their necks, might strike just the right balance between the folks who says they are private companies and can do whatever they like, and the folks who want to see them regulated and forced to change their behavior. It will certainly harm their bottom line and their public perception, as well as encourage new competition and demand for uncensored search engines and social media sites.

The far left uses the power of public shame to silence opposition to their agenda. Lets channel that shame to where it really belongs: on American companies that shit on America's founding principle of freedom of expression, as well as those who help foreign governments crack down on their own citizens.

Compare Obama to Curious George and see what happens

Too soon? I'm just monkeying around
I'm cool with all human to animal comparisons so long as the resemblance is uncanny.
