I think Cosell just came through with a posthumous endorsement.

If he had called him a monkey he'd be done and no one would shed a tear. He didn't

He didn't even ching chong an Asian opponent. Did that democrat leave the race?

I've never understood how this stupid game works. The guy says essentially that we shouldn't change horses in mid-stream and "monkey this up," meaning the economy, by embracing socialism.

And according to leftists, this is some kind of racist dog whistle to all the racists in the GOP. Do you really think that up until this very minute people weren't aware of the fact that the Rat candidate is black and that these barely closeted racists weren't going to vote until now after finding out the he is a black guy through this "dog-whistle?"

Who believes this kind of shit? I'll tell you who, people who see everything through the lenses of race and skin color. It has to be somewhere in the front of your brain that you really do think of blacks when you hear the word "monkeys" for you to read what he said and then to think that he was trying to make some kind of racially charged statement. The people that "hear" the whistle in instances like this are the fucking racists.
It's almost like when people speak all the time, shit they say gets twisted and distorted. Now if you only applied the same common sense when Hillary said Australian style gun control.

Wait for it, just as Obama and his supporters tried to turn the word "Chicago" into some racist dog whistle in order to shield Obama from any responsibility for the community he claimed to have been an organizer of, talking about this corruption will soon be labeled as a racist dog whistle.

Who knew that W was the first black President. Or were you libs trying to insult Bush by calling him black when you called him Chimpy? Btw, DeSantis didn't call anyone a monkey. So again, just using the phrase "monkey around" makes liberals think of blacks.

HRYK, Bush was consistently compared to a chimp.
Gee, it's almost like it means something different when applied to a white person (George W is dim, clueless, confused, not up to the office, doing what his handlers tell him to do) than when it's applied to a black person. Or his wife. Why would you say they did that with either of the Obamas? When you call somebody an Alabama porch monkey, are you ever talking about a white person?

(these quereys are for SFGbob, not dnc to whom this post actually quoted)

FWIW, IMO this instance doesn't show that the guy is racist, just bad at words n stuff.

Why are we talking about Obama? This guy didn't say "monkey up" when referring to Obama and he didn't compare his opponent or any other black person to a monkey. He used the word "monkey" in talking about rejecting socialism and maintaining the current strong economic growth. The only reason this is even an issue is because liberals appear to think of black people when they hear the word "monkey" and the Rat party candidate is black.
